Fast food restaurants are a staple in American cuisine, and in the age of smartphones and apps, these popular restaurants are also expanding into being able to delivery to customers. Formerly, customers had to visit the locations of restaurants like KFC, Chick-fil-A, and more go through the drive-thru. Now, they just need to stay home and use their smartphone.
Now, Taco Bell is joining the food delivery bandwagon, allowing customers to purchase their yummy tex-mex inspired cuisine. Taco Bell lovers can get their tacos, burritos, drinks and more, plus it can all be delivered right to your doorstep while it’s hot.
Seth Priebatsch, head of enterprise restaurants at Grubhub, said in a statement, “We’ve been working towards the moment of nationwide Taco Bell delivery since we first announced our partnership with Yum! Brands last year. Diners can now order delivery from thousands of Taco Bell locations across the country, granting access to famous classics like Cheesy Gordita Crunch and Nacho Fries.”
For the announcement of the partnership, Grubhub is offering free delivery on orders of twelve dollars are more. Also, for many restaurants, including Taco Bell, there is no minimum order amount, so customers can order one taco and get that delivered right to them.
Taco Bell president, Julie Felss Masino, said in the statement that the goal is to keep up the fast, quality service of Taco Bell restaurants, and to bring more drivers to Taco Bell restaurant rich areas. “Our approach to delivery is a recipe for success all around. Not only benefiting our customers but also our team members, franchisees, and Grubhub drivers by streamlining how orders hit our kitchens and when they are picked up.”
This new partnership between Grubhub and Taco Bell is not a limited time partnership either. Customers will be happy to learn that this delivery deal will be here to stay.
