Soda is one of the most popular beverages which is consumed across the globe. There are the staples of Coca-Cola and Sprite, as well as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, and many others. In fact, a lot of these sodas are actually owned by the same company, which makes creating new versions of each soda a little more interesting.
There are also diet, caffeine-free, and sugar-free versions of these sodas as well. Ginger ale is also a popular soda choice for anyone who is feeling sick, as ginger is a natural ingredient for calming the stomach.
Now, in 2020, there is a new product which is actually a mix of two different types of soda. A Sprite Ginger Ale is now available, which is the first Sprite flavor remix since Sprite Lymonade in Spring 2019, which was a soda and lemonade hybrid flavor. This new soda is a lemon-lime flavor just like traditional Sprite, with just a hint of ginger from Ginger Ale.
In fact, the new Sprite Ginger Ale is going to be available in regular and zero sugar versions. The regular version will have a mostly green can, with the Sprite logo letters in white, and the words Ginger underneath in a cream color. The zero sugar version of the drink is available in a mostly white can with the Sprite logo and the words Zero Sugar in green, and the word Ginger in cream.
As a way to market this new Sprite product, the Sprite company teamed up with teamed up with streetwear guru Jeff Staple to create a limited-edition “Ginger Collection” clothing line. This new collection includes hoodies, T-shirts, skateboards, sunglasses, pins, and more with all of the accent colors being green and gold.
The collection was also sourced for inspiration on Instagram, and Bluboy, a graphic designer and multimedia artist was chosen to help create the line out of nearly 25,000 submissions.
