The Marvel Cinematic Universe is continuing the adventures of its first three-phase characters on the smaller screen for series on Disney+. We’ve already seen the tale of grief within WandaVision, where the powerful witch Wanda tried to come to terms with herself after the unfortunate death of Vision during Infinity War. We’re currently experiencing the tactile action-thriller aspects of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, continuing the adventures of Captain America’s hero pals trying to deal with a world without Cap. And there’s another Marvel series coming out soon after Falcon and the Winter Soldier will finish up this summer.
Loki, as the title implies, will follow the iconic rival brother and villain to Thor. Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as the mischievous and evil Loki, having previously appeared in Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. The show will be centered around Loki’s very last appearance in the film, where the Avengers traveled back in time in Endgame to acquire the Infinity Gauntlet stones and accidentally slid the Tesseract cube to Loki, giving him the chance for a quick exit. Where did he go? Well, that’s the premise of the show, where Loki finds himself splitting dimensions because of his traversing antics. But when he’s discovered by authorities on this matter, he’ll have to end up working alongside the good guys once more.

The first episode of Loki will be premiering on Disney+ on June 11th with new episodes airing each week.
