Coffee drinkers rejoice! According to science, drinking coffee actually makes you live longer than people who don’t. Many people claim that they need the popular roasted coffee bean liquid running through their veins. There is a lot of controversy surrounding coffee drinkers, and how much coffee in one day is too much coffee, but the answer could be the difference between life and death.
According to studies, people who consume just one cup of coffee tend to live longer than those who do not consume coffee at all. The National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, and the Feinberg School of medicine at Northwestern University recently completed and published a study that also proved that the more coffee you drink the better.
The extensive study revealed that habitual coffee drinkers who consumed at least one or more cups of coffee per day lived longer than those individuals who only drank coffee when they were tired or not as a daily routine.
The study also found that many health benefits came from people who consume at least eight cups of coffee, which is half a gallon of coffee. However, eight cups of coffee is a lot of caffeine. That’s why it’s also good news that drinking eight cups of coffee can also be decaf coffee.
It’s important to note that the research conducted in these studies usually involves the subjects drinking straight black coffee, without cream and sugar. In fact, adding sugar and high fructose corn syrup creamer being added to your coffee actually takes away the health benefits to drinking coffee in the first place.
There have been extensive studies about the various health benefits to drinking lots of coffee, including reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and Parkinson’s disease. There has even been evidence that liver damage from alcohol has been reversed with excessive coffee drinking.
