The temperature is really heating up outside, and ice cream is a great snack for those hot spring and summer days. Popular ice cream chain Dairy Queen is known for its versatile and popular Blizzard, a cup of basically any flavored ice cream with any possible topping you could want.
Now, just in time for summer, Dairy Queen has announced a new method for trying Blizzards in the summer heat, and the best part is that you don’t have to pick just one flavor anymore. The new Mini Blizzard Treat Flights is a new Blizzard sampler, which allows customers to try up to three different Blizzard flavors with one order.
All you have to do is pick three different Blizzard flavors, and they will arrive in small sampler cups on a light blue paper tray that is shaped like an artist’s palette, complete with the hand hole on the side. A hashtag with #LOVEmyDQ is printed on the top as well. The new Mini Blizzard Treat Flights is a limited time promotion for the month of May and is available at all Dairy Queen locations across the country.
The new Mini Blizzard Treat Flights are also available in all current Blizzard flavors, as the retail price of the flights ranges between seven and ten dollars depending on the Dairy Queen location. The new promotion is also available for the new Brownie Dough Blizzard, which is a chocolate ice cream Blizzard with bits of brownie batter chunks placed throughout it. This Brownie Dough Blizzard is also the Blizzard of the Month for May at all Dairy Queen locations.
Brownie Dough is the first new summer flavor to be unveiled by Dairy Queen, with more coming in the summer months. In addition to Brownie Dough, customers can be on the lookout for Cotton Candy, S’mores, Caramel Cannonball, Summer Berry, and Oreo Cookie Jar.
