What Successful People Eat For Breakfast

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It jumpstarts your metabolism and provides you with the energy needed to start your morning. What do smart and successful people eat for their first meal? Here’s a list:

Warren Buffett

One of the world’s richest men, Warren Buffett has eaten the same breakfast for over 50 years. It isn’t what one would expect. Every morning, he swings by McDonald’s and never spends more than $3.17. That means he’ll get either a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich or a sausage, egg, and cheese sammie.

Albert Einstein

Eggs are well-known as “brain food,” and Einstein seemed to agree even before the research came out. His live-in housekeeper wrote that Einstein always ate at least two fried eggs for breakfast. He also loved mushrooms and honey.

Winston Churchill

The famous prime minister enjoyed food, and his breakfasts were hearty. One tray had toast with jam and butter, coffee, milk, cold meat, and a poached egg. The other tray had a bowl of sugar, grapefruit, a glass of orange squash (concentrated orange syrup and water), and whisky soda.

Thomas Edison

While young and broke, Edison went to a restaurant in New York and exchanged a packet of tea for a cup of coffee and apple dumpling. He was given the food, and fell in love. He made that a frequent breakfast.

John Mackey

The founder of Whole Foods, John Mackey drinks a very healthy smoothie every morning. It contains some kind of non-dairy milk (like almond or oat) with fresh fruit and a dark leafy green.

Richard Branson

Billionaire Richard Branson is a big fan of muesli, an oatmeal-like cereal made from grains, nuts, and seeds. He’ll pair it with a fruit salad, and sometimes kippers, an oily fish.

Abraham Lincoln

America’s 16th president, Lincoln usually ate a normal breakfast of toast, eggs, and coffee. He’s also recorded as loving bacon and apples.

Justin Timberlake

This performer eats two breakfasts because he works out in the morning. His first meal consists of waffles with almond butter and flaxseed, and a scrambled egg. After his workout, he gets in his recovery protein in the form of another egg or a protein shake.
