Harry Potter is one of the most popular book and film franchises every created. While the books and films have long been over, the fandom that the characters and wizarding world created continues to live on in its fans. Home decor company Pottery Barn is the latest company to jump into the Harry Potter mania, by releasing a holiday collection dedicated to the boy wizard and his stories. All of the decor items like stockings, bedding sets, ornaments, clothes and more is available online from Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and PB Teen.
One of the more popular items are the stockings, which can be hung from the fireplace, and represent the sigil and color from each individual Hogwarts house, so you can buy the one you need! They are also monogrammed so you can have your name printed right on it. Another stocking option is Hedwig the snowy owl, and all of the stockings retail for $39.50. The pajamas sets are $66 each, but it’s a small price to pay to represent your Hogwarts house at home.
New ornaments for the Christmas tree are also available, including a large, gold Deathly Hallows symbol, and a large replica of the Hogwarts Express, which are both available for $16.50 each. Some Harry Potter character ornaments are also available as plushies, like Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, and Harry Potter himself, also for $16.50.
Perhaps the most surprising and fun are the golden snitch lights, which are regular holiday white lights, except the bulb holder is in the shape of the golden snitch from the Quidditch game. A string of golden snitches are $49.50 and can be placed on a tree or over any fireplace, room, etc for maximum effect.
