Tom Cruise’s mountain estate in Telluride, Colorado hit the market a few years ago. He designed the home back in the 1990s and chose to sell it after 20 years because he apparently doesn’t use it very often. If you’ve got $59 million to spare, this could be a great investment! Read on for photos and further details.
Just Two Previous Owners
Real estate broker Bill Fandel calls the home a “Hollywood screen legend’s iconic alpine estate.” The property has only had two owners over the last century: a family of Basque sheep herders who settled on it in the 1920s, and Tom Cruise, who assembled the property through a series of various land purchases.
Breathtaking Views And Fresh Mountain Air
The home has an incredible view overlooking the entire Telluride valley. The home sits on 300 acres of land—298, to be exact. The rolling meadows and forest make for gorgeous scenery throughout all four seasons.
“It offers privacy, yet proximity, to the town of Telluride, the resort, and the airport,” Fandel says.
Seven Beds, Nine Baths
The home measures in at 10,000 square feet. It’s got seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and it was “carefully planned over the course of several years,” according to Fandel. The house includes a fitness center, recreation room, and library, as well as a private elevator, staff quarters, and a three-car garage.
