If you love coffee, but wish there was a way you could turn it into your breakfast, try coffee smoothies! By blending cold brew coffee with ingredients like berries, spices, and even greens, you can have a filling and good-for-you start to the morning. 

Vanilla Latte Smoothie

Serves: 1

A classic vanilla latte is turned into a smoothie when you add ½ cup of plain Greek yogurt. This adds thickness and protein (there are almost 12 grams) for a coffee drink that energizes you. 

Ingredients:

½ cup cold brew coffee

¾ cup sweetened vanilla almond milk

½ cup plain Greek yogurt

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 

Directions:

Pour coffee and almond milk into a blender. Add yogurt and vanilla, then blend until smooth.

Green Coffee Smoothie

Serves: 1

Trying to get more greens into your diet? The spinach is completely masked in this smoothie with almond milk, coffee, and a frozen banana for thickness and sweetness. 

Ingredients:

⅔ cup cold brew coffee

½ sweetened vanilla almond milk

1 cup spinach 

½ small frozen banana

Add ingredients in the order they are listed, and blend until smooth.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Smoothie

An autumn classic, this pumpkin spice latte doesn’t contain any pumpkin, just like its most famous version at a well-known coffee shop. Instead, it’s the pumpkin pie spices that are present: cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. 

Ingredients:

½ cup cold brew coffee

½ cup sweetened vanilla almond milk

1 teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

¼ teaspoon ground ginger

A few ice cubes 

Directions:

Add ingredients in the order they are listed into your blender, with just 2-3 ice cubes on top. Blend until smooth. 

 

Spiced Coffee-Banana Smoothie

If you like coffee with a kick, you’ll love this smoothie that has cinnamon and a teeny bit of cayenne pepper. The spice is mellowed with vanilla almond milk and a frozen banana. 

Ingredients:

½ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper 

1 small frozen banana
